meadowfield 2,545 #1 Posted January 18, 2013 Well we've had snow all week, but nothing to cause any bother... Anyway, since Andy has posted and I know stigian is sure to post some videos I'l get in next mark Btw, there was a few inches, but child no. 2 had already been clearing it... view from the cockpit making sure I can get to the pub later a quick play round the back back in the stable
VinsRJ 721 #2 Posted January 18, 2013 Looks like a job well done! Nice stable too!

Sparky-(Admin) 19,286 #6 Posted January 19, 2013 Great pics. So what in the building in pic#2? Those are some pretty stout looking bars on the door. Are they keeping folks out......or in ? Mike...............
Norlett 3 #7 Posted January 19, 2013 Think you all ought to know. That mark keeps his lads in there.when they are bad. Some people have a naughty step.Marks gone one better.(Joking behind those bars is marks local drinking house) How near can you get to a beer house. Its joined on to marks house. He will be on free beer now for clearing snow. :banana-skier:

groundhog47 347 #10 Posted January 19, 2013 Wow, that scene would be good in a movie, The Night Stalker.. Wheel Horse Cleans Up. Very nice picture, especially lights glowing, postcard like, Thanks
wheeledhorseman 573 #11 Posted January 19, 2013 Really picturesque location Mark, you're a lucky man. I hope those aren't all your empties outside the pub though! Tell me about the workshop photo, is that really a scale model horse on the shelf, a real one even, or is it a trick of the light? Andy
meadowfield 2,545 #12 Posted January 19, 2013 Hehe, no Andy - not mine, though I have been known to contribute.... Are you poking fun at the lawn ranger :P
wheeledhorseman 573 #13 Posted January 19, 2013 Who me????? (As if I'd do a thing like that) No it's just a curious effect from the photo that it's difficult to judge the sizes of things from the perspective. The brain gets presented with conflicting reference information in interpreting the perspective based on the assumption the the tractors are the same size in life. Anglo Traction 759 #14 Posted January 19, 2013 Great Pics Mark , LED Lights are a big improvement aren't they. Look's like you need another Workshop Space, you managed to fill that one pretty quick :jaw:
neil 2,398 #15 Posted January 20, 2013 great pics Mark looks like someones been having a bit of fun clearing snow
Stigian 1,234 #16 Posted January 20, 2013 Cool photo's Mark, the light and the beautiful stone building make them very er... old worldy.. which is very cool A bit jealous though of seeing all you guy's having fun in the snow and I've not had enough snow yet to make it worthwhile getting the 'Orses out.. Tomorrow will be a different matter though :woohoo:
meadowfield 2,545 #17 Posted January 20, 2013 Andy, The lawn ranger does look small next to the GT... But even smaller next to a D series Richard, LED lights are the mutts nuts.... The ammeter barely moves when they are on, and the light output for the low current is immense. Re: workshop... Errm yup, this ones full - need another.... Ian, Thanks! It is a different world compared to some areas of the country . I bet you are already playing out and gathering some video footage... I do have a camera mount - might do an in tractor vid next time

meadowfield 2,545 #21 Posted January 21, 2013 Had an hour clearing the drive earlier - futile as it's coming down faster than I can plough but I've been out for more gas and I've another 2 gallon to keep me going even managed to get child no. 2 to get a video. Hang on in there 'Stormin' if it snowed here 'darn sarf' then it must snow sometime soon where you are. Andy
