Nice clean unit. Too bad that doesn't have hyd lift. Score on the new 16 horse though.

It was a NOS engine that was in a crate for years. An older gentleman put it on in the spring of 2011 and had a stroke later that year. He sold it to the guy I bought it off of. He only used to ride around. His son thought it couldn't have more than 50hours on it. Thad (Ohio)

I saw that last week. Tried to convince a buddy of mine to go to to Ohio to get it as there was a JD 1401 he wanted there. I've been on call at work so I had no way to get there Congrats.

Basically new, all cast iron big block. It does not get much better than that. Nice.

What are your plans for that engine? Getting rid of the blue look???
