I got the deal of the year today

Was going thru the local Craigslist yesterday and found a brand new, never used, 52 inch mower for 5xi. The post was only 20 minutes old. I called and today I picked up the mower. Price was $100 (not a misprint) plus sales tax. I asked the guy how did he come by this new mower. I seems he was a former Toro dealer and was "cleaning out the loft" when he found this unit. Yes, it is a 1998 model and I really did not need it but for $100, I could not resist. I have found several recently in the $500-$850 range. Now if I could only locate a front end loader......

I noticed in your list of hardware owned that you have a 1973, below is the picture of the one I grew up with. My dad purchased it new in '73.

I was one hard working machine. Cut grass and plowed with it for 35 years, now I wish I never sold it.

About a year ago, there was a guy in upstate Vermont that was selling a loader for a 520H along with the duel wheel kit and extra wheels, and weight box all for $500. I hesitated because it was 4 hours away and I did not really have the time to go get it. I did eventually call but was number 2 so I missed it.
