Incredible!! Something that I have always wondered about concerning the lever steer tractors....people engineered an engine and drive system but couldn't figure out a simple steering wheel!! :)

The second one from the top is a Speedex FG High Boy. The one with the bench seat and the David Bradely hood is a Brownie. The Brownie tractors were made by the Allen Hershel company, they were amusement park rides. Same basic design as a bantam tractor, but they only have one speed forward.The Speedex High boy utilizes a 1930 model A Ford motor and transmission. IT was made in Ravenna Ohio.

I got them out of Alliance Ohio I bought 4 of them off the guy. We have had 6 total over the years. There a very interesting tractor. Just a little big for the average garden tractor collector, but they are fun to drive.

The last one is a Wildcat. It is mistaken as a Bantam tractor and is very similar but was made after the Bantam factory shut down. The first is a 1938 Speedex model B and is the oldest known rider. The third is a 1954 Economy lever steer. Fourth is 46 pond lever steer, 5th. 2 1955 ride away seniors, 6th Speedex Fg lowboy and it has ford model A engine and trans but a ford model T rear diff with speedex drop boxes,

Very Awesome set of tractors. My favorite ,other than the Wheel Horses , is that tenth one down. What is it?

7th is a 1954 speedex model D4, 8th 56, 57, rj35s and rj58 wheel horses, 9th 57 and 58 speedex model M14 and the 58 has the factory hood amd last year for lever steers and first year for a hood. 10th is the Brownie and my brother talked bout it and though it looks like a Bradley hood it isnt stamped David Bradley and os original to the tractor. 11th is a 51 Vantrac tractor made in medina,ohio by a frmer speedex dealer. There is only 3 other riders known and a handful of walkers made. 11th is a Garden master model GB amd last is the Wildcat

First is 2 Hiller Yardhands. All they have is one forward speed and have a 2 cycle power products engines. 2nd is a Standard tractor and they were made the Bantam tractors. 3rd is a 54 Bantam with a rare 1200 model Clinton. Only one other is known with a clinton and we also own it. The serial tag always matchs with the engine tag to tell what engine is original and this one matches. 4th is a Shaw-du-All model R12 with a 2cylinder wisconsin engine. 5th is a Garden All with sickle bar. 6th is 36inch Big Snapper.... It is a pre runner to the snapper mowers thay many people use today

That Big Snapper looks like a flying saucer...some alien technology leftover from the fifties.

Awesome collection !! don't see any of that stuff up here. Iv'e seen 1 speedex at a show

and even pre 1970 wheel horses are very rare up here.

Yea we have had everything running at one time and took a trip around the yard and it was either put in the corner or in storage. As for Speedex tractors the newest one we have is 1958. They are all lever steers and the oldest is 1938 but also have a selection of Speedex walk behinds. The Big Snapper is a bigger heavy duty version of the little Snippin Turtle mower which i think there is 6 of those packed away also. I am in mid twenties and he is early thirties but about 5 years ago we started over with just a a handful of tractors because our space went from over a acre of land to a small one car garage.
