mounted winch to lift the snowplow / blower

Recommended Posts

Lars

Well i have got an idea so i just had to test it out to see if it works..

I have installed an electric winch on my raider 10 to lift the snowblade/blower/deck and also the rear hitch..

i have put it where the battery is on it so i have to put the battery under the seat on it:)

Here are some pict of it so far..

Lars, You do excellent work, oustanding idea as is the safety switch!! Neat control location also! Put you a roller/pulley underneath to mid hitch (loop over forward or backward whichever you extend out hook around roller)and have a self extractin' pull out device if you get stuck also.

That's a neat idea Lars, a push button blade control is very cool :handgestures-thumbup:

Nice welding by the way.

Hey, Lars, if you have another you are going to fabricate and need a 12v dc gear motor (off ambulance wheel chair lift) have two not using, may be slower lifting. Will check out and photograph tomorrow.

Lars ,could you get a remote control fitted to the winch

I was looking at a remote control winch set up myself a while ago and it wasnt too much money neither.

Inconsequential and possibly imaterial, photo of moter 1750 rpm, 40:1 ratio, approximately 15" long (tag says 35 but that doesn't calculate ?1400rpm).

Don't knock yourself in the head with the implement lift handle while using the winch.

I noticed it moving back and forth very quickly.
