I've seen similar units here in the states. State of MI uses a similar unit to cut back brush along the highways. Also seen rail mounted versions for brush cutting along rail lines

I wonder how much stuff gets tore up because the operator really needs 4 hands!

My ex-father-in-law had a rear mounted brush-hog on a hydraulic boom...really tore up a lot of stuff with that!

He couldn't watch the road in front, and the mower in the back at the same time!

Mowing around the sign posts and under the guardrails is pretty cool. We have something similar here in Dakota County, But it looks more like a half dozen people in safety vests with weed whips from the county lock-up. It seems to get the job done. Its a multi-use tool too because it picks up garbage as well. :teasing-whipyellow:
