Had been wanting to make one of these for a while now , so...after an hour or so in the barn with the grinder and the welder and this is what I came up with. I believe this will work for what I need to use it for.

"HOME MADE" :banghead: LOL

Thanks. Noooo it's not a bale of straw :ROTF: It's just an old piece of particle board that I use as a mobile bench.

This is to go on my D series tractor(s).

Looks good all it needs now is a receiver hitch welded in the center.

Looks good all it needs now is a receiver hitch welded in the center.

I have a flat piece of steel that i bolt to it with a hitch ball on it that way I can move my trailers around also. The reason I dont weld it on is that I need the hole to be able to move my smaller trailers and my yard sprayer as they have the hitch type mounts.

I am painting it now and will update with pix later today.

Thanks

Looks good. I made one like that for my PK's. I used a little heavier stock on top sides, about same width. I also used an angle iron for bottom with flat side turned up and the pins went into the heavier upper stock as it passed over the angle iron ends. Clear as Mudd? Anyway, I put a ball in center for trailers or could use other holes for clevis for chains. With an A-frame the hitch bar won't roll when using it like just a bar does. I do see now many guys just making an attachment that is straight up from bar to 3rd link with a receiver square at the bottom end that keeps from rolling too. Not sure a reciever end is all that much handier myself, but haven't really had one either.

Anyone be able to measure out the Top Link Bar for the 50” D Series Tiller?
Just finished rebuilding a tiller, have a adjustable type but would like to put a original type on like the manual has listed.

What gauges were standard on wheel horse D160 D180 D200 series tractors?
Was the dash light only an option on the D200?

On D180 and D200 series tractors I've seen, it seems like they all had Ammeter, oil pressure, and transmission temperature.
I've only seen engine hours and dashlight on one D200.

I'm not sure about D160.  I have never seen one up close.

      Thanks.
