clintonnut 126 #1 Posted August 20, 2012 Finally got a pull this year on it and am very pleased to say I cleaned house in my class! The pull was saturday morning and Friday night I was rewelding a steering pivot and Saturday morning had to clean the points and replace the condenser as they went bad that morning! Played with the governor and actually got it working properly and it was a blast! I can't believe the power it made with governor set up right! Guessed on weight placement and with 30lbs up front it was just enough to keep from shooting the stars. I think I'm going to put a little bigger pulley on the engine... Also aired down the tires quite a bit and you can see from pics they are wrinkling a bit. I think If I get my wheel speed up a little bit and a little more weight on the front it will be great! The pull class had 7 full pulls and I was one of them. Did a pull off and got down to 5 with me still in it. Did a pull off-pull off and got down to 3 and then I cleaned house with a 13ft lead and a couple feet shy of a full pull again! The final pull had the wheels off the ground and I had to use my butt to get the thing back straight down the track! Here's pics. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
