Are there any Railroaders and/or Conductors on RS?

I was fortunate to be hired on as a Conductor with CSX a few months ago. Just curious if anyone else works for the railroad on here... :handgestures-thumbupright:

My grandfather and 3 of his brothers (all gone now) all worked for the SOUTHERN RR. But they started back when the "fireman" really did "fire" the engine....with coal!

Does HO scale engineer count?? :bow-blue: :bow-blue:

That was my dream job for many years as a youth tried at least 7 or 8 times with different roads but never got the pick. Almost went to CSX conductor school but failed the psych test......I'll leave it at that.

What yard are you working out of? Willyard? Wally World? Queensgate?

Yah! its a lot easier to get the train back on the tracks when it's only 1/4 scale! The way we do every thing at junction is just like they were done back in the 60's. CB's, and 2 way radios is how we communicate and there is always a mix up in communication and makes for some fast fixes so the public doesn't know what has happened. they just think it's part of the show and or ride. When there is a derailment, not that ever happens :eusa-whistle:. They all gather to watch on how we get the train back on the tracks. All and all we have a lot of fun playing with the trains.
