wheeledhorseman 573 #2 Posted July 22, 2012 The deck that was supplied at the same time as my 227-5 was purchased new is model E5-42XR01. That's a 42" Rear discharge deck. If you have a 36" deck it would be E5-36XR01 both these numbers check against the 227-5 on the Toro site. You should be able to get a belt from a Toro agent or Garden Machinery type shop based on the deck number. If you have difficulties get back to me as the belt on mine is a standard automotive type belt by Gates and I should be able to read the number off it.
