rmaynard 14,805 #2 Posted June 26, 2012 Do you want genuine Kohler or can you use after-market parts? I get most of my after-market stuff from Maple Grove Distributors.
Rooster 191 #3 Posted June 26, 2012 Prefer genuine, but cannot always get them.
MalMac 1,328 #4 Posted June 26, 2012 I use OPE engines. They are online. They are a OEM company that sells for way less. I have used them for several rebuilds. If you want to use OEM then I would sure give them a try. If you got any questions about them just shoot a PM be glad to answer.

bowtiebutler956 649 #8 Posted June 27, 2012 Has anyone ever used the Rotary parts..Rings, gaskets, etc?? Never even thought about it, lol, My Racing Team Mate is a Rotary dealer.... I have Rooster. Many of the parts that came in the rebuild kit that I got on were Stens/Rotary, and so far so good! I've been very pleased with my K301, and I've put alot of hours on it already. Raider10 3 #13 Posted June 29, 2012 :) Only place i could find on the bay was called The mans one stop shop. Had 2 engine refresh kits now and had no trouble at all, both shipped to the uk and far cheaper than any parts over here in the uk, even with the postage added on. Buckshot 1 15 #15 Posted July 9, 2012 :) Rooster, I have tried Rotary in a pinch and was not to impressed with them. I can usally get OEM Kohler from my parts supplier, but my discount is not as great. I have used OPE, great service and pricing. I have also used NAPA when in a pinch. I am currently rebuilding a K301 for a freind of mine and he bought the kit from One Mans stop to save some money, time will tell on those parts. I like to use OEM parts on any engine I am working on, I am not a big fan of after market parts. :flags-usa:
