$40 but I did the sand blasting and I bought the powder. There is a guy at work that powder coats out of his garage and work really cheap. If I had sent it out to have I done at a shop it would have easily ben over $100.

That would be at least a $150 lot charge if we did it through the shop, blast, phosphate wash and powder. Figure there's at least a 1.5 to 2 hours work there at roughly $75 hr and paint would run $10 to $15....

So you got a good deal!

It's just blasted and powder coat, this deck shell was in really good shape no holes, no cracks, no welding. It's a little thin in spots from pitting but with the powder coat it should last good while longer. This goes on my 655 it see's occasional use and show duty, not a trailer queen by any means.

The color turned out a little brighter then I like but after a little dust and green grass juice I'm sure no one will ever be the wiser. I still have to figure out how I am going to weld up the ball joint on the deck lift bars :banghead:

What was the name of the powder that you used?

I have been doing some powder coating on small parts and used Bengal Red from Summit Racing and to me

it looks to be a good match to IH professional tractor spray paint..

It is bright red from Eastwood but it is a little too bright needs to be darker.

Wish I knew somebody like that. That deck looks better than a new one.
