Reminder for the Praireland Harvest Show on September 28, 29 and 30th to be held at Jacksonville, Illinois on the Prairieland Harvest Museum Institute grounds. This si a very nice place to hold a tractor show.

There ae several nice old buildings and a large dairy barn in this site which is on about 100 acres.

My brother and I will be taking some Wheel Horse tractors this year as they had only one Wheel Horse lawn mower last year on display!

Hope to see great Wheel Horse participation this year from my fellow REd Square members.

Guys this is a reminder of the Prairie Land Heritage Museaum Tractor Show at the end of September in Jacksonville, Illinois.

I just got back from a day at the Mentone Swap Meet and Show and it was a very good turnout and very nice day to be there. Ken Stephens and Richard Layne always have a nice event.

I just got word from Mike Hall at the Prairie Land Show (he coordinates the Lawn and Garden Tractors among other things) that Wheel Horse is going to be the featured tractor in 2013!

That is big and great news. I am pleased to see that as I mentoned last year I only saw one Wheel Horse lanw mower at the show and I think it was as a rider -not on display!

I had a great time at the show yesterday, always good to hang out with Lane and David and Martin and his family. Perfect weather, we had a nice showing of horses, lots of people looking and asking questions. This show has a huge flea market with everything under the sun.

Ok guys David and I just got back from Jacksonville and arrived in Greencastle aroudn 6:30 PM ! We were in Jacksonvillle, Illinois from Wednesday September 26, 2012 thru today. We had a work and play week. We did a ceramic tile floor job at my daughters house in one of her bathrooms and we spent three days off and on at the Prairie Land Heritage Museum Show and Swap Meet.

I want to thank Denny Clarke and Martin, Jeanine and Kent Howard for bringing their Wheel Horse tractors as our four (two RJ's and two 1967 Lawn Rangers) made a total of nine at the show that I counted. Denny's 1958 RJ, Martin's C-125 recently completed and that great 1054 that was his first wheel horse complete restoratiuon (not so long ago -Martin!).

We enjoyed the visit with our Red Square friends and we enjoyed all the questions, comments and great interaction with the visitors to this western Illinois show that celebrated it's 43rd year!

Don't forget next year Wheel Horse will be the tractor of the year at this Show!

By the way the tile job came out very nice and we were the last Lawn and Garden tractors displayed to leave the grounds on Sunday night!
