Great color choice! Gold accents would really set that off.

Gold leaf is an excellent choice. I had gold leaf added to the side of my race boat, it really makes every thing else pop!

"broke the drive shaft and a rocker arm stud at my very first pull with it"

What cam are you using and how much lift? I know I could not use the blue rockers that MWSC sold in the kit without having to clearence the rocker body or the pushrod would bind. After half a season I upgraded to Comp Pro Magnum Rockers and 7/16" studs and they stay in adjustment now. Those other rockers would go .020 out just rolling the engine over after adjusting.

Nice job.  That is a great paint job, love the color.  Makes me want to do mine, if I could go that long without using it...
