Yes with 2 exceptions. The 37" SD and the 60". The 37" needs the smaller front tires and the 60" needs the swept front axle of the 520. To my knowledge known to be corrected!

This applies to the common 300 / 400 / 500 and B/C Series.

The 37" SD also requires a change in pulleys on the belt tensioner (or mule drive, but I've begun to think that's a cuss word around here!)

If I understand these things correctly, most belt tensioners operate with one "vee" and one "flat" pulley; the 37" deck takes two "vee" pulleys on the tensioner and uses a really strange six-sided mower drive belt, sometimes called a "double vee" belt, but always called too cussed expensive. B)

The 37" will fit 8" tire models WITH the forward swept axle too! B)

David, your best (smallest) choice for your C-160 would be the 3 blade 36" in either side or rear discharge. This will readily mount up without any tire clearance issues as long as you don't intend to run any extra wide rears.

David, A 36" deck would also work on your 73 4 speed. So one deck could be swapped back and forth if needed.

The swept forward axle just sweeps or arches forward on each side of the frame to give the tractor a longer wheelbase and make room for the 60" deck.

Notice in the picture that the axle moves past the front of the frame.
