even the :"weaker 300 series" are VERY capable tractors and you would have to pay alot of money for a new one to equal the capabilities of these tractors

I decided if Mater has to wait for a total clean-up until his brother is done he can at least use a little paint.
So I spent my Sunday cleaning him up and sanded off the bad rust. The I decided to go ahead and put a coat if primer on him just to cover the bare metal.

No fancy paint job here now - just a quick squirt of primer.
Decided to try flat black and I'm VERY pleased with the results.

go ahead and paint a big #3 in white on the hood an call it done! Jay
