Integrated Rear Hub on '78 C101?

Recommended Posts

The Title and description says it all. Anybody know of any WH C101's with the hub built into the wheel like LT's? A guy on MTF says he can't get the wheels off.

I'm no expert, but I would say that all the C-101s came out of the factory with the 5 lug bolt pattern. I'll have to go to the MTF site and see the question, but I'm sure that all the C's had the bolted on wheels.

Absolutely not.... no..... never.

I have seen quite a few tractors with the wheel rusted on to the hub to the point that all of the lug bolts could be removed and the tractor still driven. (and the wheel still doesn't break loose.)

A little heat around the center hole of the wheel will normally free it. NEVER pound on the back of the wheel or the hub. Tapping lightly around the large center hole with a smaller hammer might help loosen it. Penetrating oil isn't a bad idea either.
