Wow, what a great price for machine shop work! I'm jealous.

I'm sure your project is going to turn out great. Hope you post some pics of the finished project.

That's kinda wierd how progress just seemed to drop off these past 6 or 7 months...

An update:

It's been quite a long time since I posted anything on this. Sorry.

The engine has been rebuilt and it runs sooooo good. This is my second rebuild and I can tell it's a bit better than the last one. Nothing like some confidence :) The transmission now has all new seals and a new 1533 bearing. The high low shift fork is in great condition too.

I did a quick sanding and rattle can on the engine shroud and decided to wait until next summer to do the full paint job. Now I had never driven this before taking it apart and I can easily say that this is one of the best feeling and running WH tractors that I have ever driven. The steering is super tight and easy. It just feels like the tractor was never really abused, just left out to rust.

All new wiring job and all safety switches have been removed. Old tire chains slung over the tires and the snow plow will be installed before Thursday's storm. Here are a couple of pictures;

Glad to hear you got it going again! :woohoo: Looks like a solid old :wh: , and I'm sure it will do great with plow duty. I look forward to seeing it after you paint it. :thumbs:
