Hang in there! As a retired Special Forces Medic and current Physician Assistant (still working for the Army) I know that Johns Hopkins has one of best Peds Cardio clinic in the world! I'm only 48 but see young patients endure things that would knock us down for the count. Your love and dedication as family will see you through.

UPDATE...

I am happy to report that Ryan came home from the hospital this evening. Open heart surgery on Tuesday, back home 4 day and 16 hours later. Amazing.
