Jim_M 178 #3 Posted November 3, 2011 I don't think you could go wrong with a dxi. It's a heck of a tractor!
tank 0 #4 Posted November 4, 2011 Thanks to all. Ya new it was good just trying to justify the money for a used one. I spent les on my 257-h with blower new. O yes its still going, but getting rough round the edges. Hope this one lasts 20 something years. tank
IthacaJeff 151 #5 Posted November 4, 2011 I've not had one of the xi series, but are you sure you want to pay that much for a tractor with a 44" deck? That is a lot of HP (and gas) for mowing with such a small deck. . . . Jeff in Enfield NY
tank 0 #6 Posted November 5, 2011 Thanks Jeff But I am manly looking for snow blower. The diesel is very good on fuel. And I am now using a 36" deck so it a move up I just hope it will do my slopes? tank
HorseFixer 2,012 #7 Posted November 5, 2011 Good luck with that tractor they are a beast! Looks we have another Snow Chucker Joining Us! ~Duke
Nick 13 #8 Posted November 6, 2011 The 523 is a heck of a tractor and an expensive tractor also. I think the list price for tractor alone was near $10,000 and Im guessing the blower and deck could have added around another $3,000 to the price.
