I just noticed that we set a record for this site - the most users online. There were 14 users, guests and members, online today, November 11, 2007 at 7:22 PM CST. Woo-woo. :D

Yes, I agree. We have a lot of lurkers here - which I guess is good. But, if any guest or lurker sees this, go ahead and register. It's free, painless, simple and it allows you to post. And there is a free downloadable calendar waiting. (I know, I know, they probably can download it even if they don't register). But, we don't have to tell them that. :D

It is partially due to the Yahoo main Wheel Horse group. There was a request for a link, and I replied with a link to the links post. Got lots of folks checking out the link which drove the count up, hope they join here too can't have too many people join up.

Good recruiting job. Last week we got about 4 new members in one day. This was just after I've provided a link to this site on both MTF and GW. Maybe a coincidence, but I'm going with just my good recruiting skills I got when I was an Army recruiter. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

For what it's worth, when we hit 19, most were guests. We're running 14 members now, which is really good. Activity wise, this has got to be the most active dedicated Wheel Horse site there is! :D

I've kinda wondered why this hasn't been planned yet. We get different members coming in and out of here throughout each day, right?

What if we just say "Everybody that CAN be here at (insert specific time) BE here. We're going to break the previous record!"

Looks like the new record was officially 22 at 9:39 PM CST. It would have been 23, but I had to go off line - I usually get up at oh-dark-thirty and it was time to take a shower and go to bed. :D
