Home made snowplow frame and plowblade

Hi Guys

Me and my brother has just started and create frame to a snow plow as it is impossible to get one like that here in Norway

so I post some pictures here ..

Looks good so far I had made a new blade for one a few years back. I'll give you a hint the radius of the plow is 15" IIRC. We have a Hossfeild bender at the shop, I was able to bend angle iron to the radius and just started clamping and tack welding the sheet metal as I went along. It actually worked out very well.

Nice fabrication. That's going to look great when it's finished, If you need any more measurements, just let me know, Id be happy to get the tape measure out and pop out to the garage.

Most impressive :thumbs2: . It is also cheaper to have one made here in UK, rather than pay the money they sell for when they rarely come up for sale.

I only wish I had the equipment and facilities to do what yoiu are doing. :banghead:

I have used a bike cable to the trigger, and handle of bike ..

It works really really well

Have rust treated frame and plow blade

next step is painting.. but can not and decide for the color .. red, black, silver, etc..

difficult to find red to match the tractor ..

yes I have my hours of thinking .. on how to fix things, etc.. frame and it was good I think .. but are not completely satisfied with snowplow .. think I'll make one that is slightly more curved .. 'll see how it works first ...

had to have the wheel weights also ... weight on these is 25 kg/55lbs

Thanks for all the nice comments .. and help

It has been great fun and a lot of thinking to get it. But finally I'm done with it. Only a few minor adjustments and I'm done

changed the oil on the engine and axle. and given it a service. now it's ready for the winter.
