T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #2 Posted June 18, 2008 Greg, You have been busy. Sounds like you got the most of it covered. The only thing else would be to add an inline fuel filter (wouldn't hurt). Also we do like pictures.
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #3 Posted June 18, 2008 Change the transmission/transaxle oil. (or did I miss that). Good job so far! You now have all the knowlege to keep this beast running for many years to come! :WRS:
dgjks6 6 #4 Posted June 18, 2008 Last year when I got my tractor it had a leak from the rear, so they changed a gasket and replaced the transaxel fluid. Forgot about the fuel filter - was looking at that last night and may do the gas line with it. Just have to figure out where the line starts. Greg
Curmudgeon 28 #5 Posted June 18, 2008 Did you synchronize the hubcaps?
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #6 Posted June 18, 2008 He forgot rotating the tires.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #7 Posted June 18, 2008 Oh, and changing out the anti-freeze and replacing the winter air in the tires with summer air.
Duff 206 #8 Posted June 18, 2008 Forgot about the fuel filter - was looking at that last night and may do the gas line with it. Just have to figure out where the line starts. Yo, Greg! OK, since this seems to be "joke day" at Red Square....... I'd say one end will be at the gas tank, and the other end somewhere near the motor????? But seriously, if you have a problem let me know and I'll try to get some pix of mine for you! Mine was routed a little strangely and when I did the frame-off I rerouted it to make more sense (and better protection as it turns out). T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #9 Posted June 18, 2008 Another thing to add, if there isn't one, is a fuel shut off.
