A little progress in restoration

Recommended Posts

This is how my old horse looks today :banghead:

Still got things to get done, i need the spindles for the mowerdeck.. i was thinking of fabricating 3 new spindle houses from stainless steel, and fit a 20mm axle in 6004 ball bearings. This way i could use pulleys, bearings, bladeholders and axles from Husqvarna riders.. they are easy to get here in DK. Wheel horse stuff is rare, and the bearings for the old WH spindles is impossible to find.

A big :thumbs2: to "Anglotraction" for finding the front rims and decals for me, i think the seller i bought the rims from is in here somewhere ?

And to "sgtsampay" for the fuel tank !! that was really nice :banghead: it looks so much better with the right fuel tank instead of the kohler magnum tank that was bolted to the engine before.

(yes i need to paint the engine)

That is a good looking WH Kai ! :thumbs2: . I can understand your difficulties finding parts over there. Your ideas for the Deck modifications sound logical.

I'm sure it will function perfectly with your fabrication skills. Look forward to seeing the finished deck (and Snow Plough).

Regards.
