312Hydro 473 #1 Posted July 27, 2011 Hey all, have a problem. Was mowing grass this evening and the Kohler started surging while the mower was engaged. When I would turn off the pto, the engine ran fine with full rpms. Just completed a renovation on the 312H and the Kohler was sitting for about a month. I had cleaned the gas tank and put in a new shutoff valve with filler on it. It won't surge until the pto is engaged. It ran fine last week. Any ideas? 312Hydro 473 #3 Posted July 28, 2011 Thanks bigd I took the carb off ,blew out the orifices and cleaned it. Runs great. I forgot to flush the fuel line when I did the resto,some dirt evidently clogged the carb. Thanks again,Rich Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
