mfn71 0 #1 Posted June 21, 2011 I just inherited a 70 charger 12.The battery won't charge, narrowed it down to what the manual/parts list (I have all the originals) calls the rectifier, but I'm having a helluva time finding one.Help? Thanks.
DoctorHfuhruhurr 132 #2 Posted June 21, 2011 If you are looking to fix it here's an interesting thread.... http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...9973&hl=autopsy
mfn71 0 #3 Posted June 21, 2011 I saw that one and read it,but it still doesn't get me a new one. When I ask the parts places I get the confused puppy dog look and told "we dont got nothin like that".

mfn71 0 #5 Posted June 21, 2011 I think so,the tractor and books are at my folks house and I'm at home. Can the number be crossed?
DoctorHfuhruhurr 132 #6 Posted June 22, 2011 partstree.com has one listed for a 1972 charger 12 as part number 101450. I didn't see any parts diagrams for 1970 but I'd venture to guess they are the same. You may want to create a post in the wanted section or I saw one on mowpart.com (link below) for $91.75 + shipping. I'd check ebay also. http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=toro_co...-5315010A-00013 http://www.mowpart.com/p220081/Regulator-R...oduct_info.html
rmaynard 14,864 #7 Posted June 22, 2011 Possibly. Some other members here have the same tractor and they may chime in later if they have an answer for you.
