chris11 184 #1 Posted June 7, 2011 There is a bunch of lights on the dash of my I think its a 1986 someone scrape off some of the vin. Well theres a test switch just below the lights, but it doesnt do anything, no light light up. What powers the board up? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

jdog_kustoms 82 #3 Posted June 8, 2011 the board gets power on I think the red wire that has a quick disconnect fitting on it and leaves the board and heads to the switch I think the board has power all the time when the switch is in the on position but a lot of the boards go bad or get corroded at the top were the wires are pushed in Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I will try to find the link to the previous post I did on rebuilding those boards, but for now. check out the switch itself for continuity when you activate it.
