I need some help here. I cleaned up meaning repainted a c81 that steve bo gave me and after assembling it went to start it and the engine just about turned over. It has a new battery and solenoid that steve installed before he gave it to me . also when it turned over smoke was coming from the cable on the starter positive lead im guessing anyway i cleaned the terminals and no go now it will do nothing I charged the battery and removed the starter and benched tested it and it turns over fine I pulled the sparkplug and turned the engine over by hand and it seems fine. Im stumped on what to check next I did pull the plug ins on the ignition switch and pto switch too any idea if there is a fuse that maybe blew I did not see any fuses did it come with it?? thanks guys Jim :hide:

The isolation mount horses had a short wire that runs from a small bolt in the cradle to one of the 3/8" cradle mounting bolts...Make sure it is clean and has good contact at both ends
