Kohler powered 416's

Recommended Posts

Just checking what I think is correct for the Kohler powered 416's.

1. They are all 8-speeds

2. The 1986 has a K-Series

3. The 1987-88 have a Magnum

4. Starting in 1989 they had an Onan

Anything else special about the Kohler powered 416's?

ummmmm.... you can erase #4, Karl. (even though that's partially correct)

New #4: They make excellent stock or stock altered pulling tractors!

Maybe you'll get lucky and find one real cheap. :WRS:

(and maybe it will have a really cool accesory, like electric lift! :D)

This is the 85 416-8 speed I have with a K341 in it.

Was refinished & later style decals were then put on it by a PO.....

Yeah I know.....must be pretty proud of it to keep posting pics... :WRS:

Hey, Dustin!

Please bear with my ignorance, but WHAT is attached to the front of your 417A with the little red wheels?

Well, I was asking these questions because Friday I was supposed to pick up a 416-8 with a Kohler (broken connecting rod). I guess the owner wanted it gone sooner as he gave it to someone else. IT WAS FREE! :WRS:

Karl sorry you missed the boat...wait that was last year.

I wonder if someone made the guy a cash offer for the tractor...funny how that can throw a freebie deal for a loop. :D

Well take a spin on one of your tractors... best way I know to get my mind of a missed deal. :WRS:
