tommy3horse 3 #1 Posted May 7, 2011 Howdy to all; Just got a Raider 12 and it looks to have a fly wheel trigger and missing points. I believe something happened to the trigger thingy and it wouldnt run, thats how I got it. Is there an easy way to convert to points type ignition? What is necessary? shorts 182 #2 Posted May 7, 2011 I would imagine that if the block is machined for points, a conversion would be more affordable. points,condenser,pushrod/cam follower,wiring,tin cover and gasket and some wiring. also check for aftermarket triger units, pertronics used to be the place to go for automobile conversions.
