Stigian 1,234 #1 Posted May 19, 2008 An unexpected email at the weekend resulted in trip out to pick up a free Countex sit-on mower The tractor part of things is in quite good condition, but the cutting deck may well be a bit past repair so i thought id share some pics of it with you One thing i cant quite work out, where is all the grass cuttings that caused it to rust so bad in the first place Can you spot the bent metal and pop rivet repairs Turn it over and the extent of the rust shows Even the side walls have totally gone Its a good job the scrap man is coming today, this is the first on the pile to go :D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mith 2 #2 Posted May 19, 2008 Countax/Westwood dont seem to have grasped the fact that if you use paint that sticks it doesnt rust out as fast.
