redtin 0 #1 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi All On changing oil and filter on my TORO DH220 tractor mower Briggs & stratton intek 725cc twin the new filter oem with the correct part No did not have what looks like a raised plate with a spring under it at the bottom inside on the original so rang Toro dealer and he did not seem to know, any idea as to what this is, seems to run okay with new filter just hope its not some kind of pressure release. redtin :thumbs: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
algrc120man 0 #2 Posted March 23, 2011 i think you are talking about the anti drain back some filters have so after the engine is off the filter does not empty out causing a pressure spike when the engine re starts the filter wont blow off. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
