WheelHorse_of_course 99 #1 Posted May 16, 2008 Hey folks, I found a chipper on Craig's list that looks like I should be able to convert to front-mount PTO driven (once the 5 HP B&S dies). http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/grd/681660103.html http://cleveland.craigslist.org/grd/641062663.html It is a Lazy Boy C5099. I did some research and they were made by Parmi and later by Garden Way and/or Troy Bilt. It looks to be a pretty close clone to the MacKissic Mighty Mac SC763 (the least mighty of the Macs) . http://www.westpowertools.com/mackissic/chipper-sc7.html Seems like a nice unit, though parts could be a problem since Parmi has bit the dust. Maybe some parts would be interchangeable with the Mac. Anyway, what do you guys think? Has anyone used one of these? At least it is a real hammer mill. If I buy this, is anyone interested in buying the B&S from me (Northeast OH)?
