Drive belt slippage

Recommended Posts

To begin with, I know nothing about garden tractor pulling, but it sure looks like fun

Doesn't the drive belt start slipping long before the wheel "spin out" ? Or is there some "trick" I don't know about with regards to the belt and or pulleys ?

Install a stronger spring or multiple springs, use a good belt and replace it when it starts showing signs of wear. I went all last season on one belt.
