Voltage regulator woes..

I do not have a single regulator out of 4 or 6 that work. Most of them just one day didn't put a charge on the meter. I would clean the contacts and still nothing. These are the delco remy s/g regulators.

Did you check the ground from the regulator case to the engine? Try a wire and two alligator clips connected between a regulator cooling fins (clean and area) and a good engine ground point. See if that makes a difference.

He's talking starter/generator regulators Mike.

They do still need to be grounded I think. Seems like one out of 4 should work though, are you sure you havent got a bad generator or wire?
