DWELL METER

How do you convert to use for single cyl. motor. My meter has 4,6,8 cyl. Or do they make one designed just for 1 cyl motors. Thanks

You don't need to use a dwell meter on Kohler engines. Here is something that I am quoting from Brian Miller's website:

"Kohler engines aren't like car engines. You don't dwell-in the points on a Kohler engine. Instead, you set the point gap at .020" just to get the engine running, then you set the ignition timing by widening or narrowing the points gap until the timing is at 20
