From our weather center:

A SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM IS LIKELY LATE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY.

HEAVY SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS IN EXCESS OF 8 INCHES ARE LIKELY. STRONG

NORTHEAST WINDS IN EXCESS OF 35 MPH MAY ALSO DEVELOP... WITH NEAR

BLIZZARD CONDITIONS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST...IF THE

STORM DEEPENS TO THE EXTENT THAT SOME OF THE PROJECTIONS INDICATE.

About 20" here in Southeast. Still kicking myself for not outfitting the 416 with the blower this year!

All tolled, 14 inches fell here in NY overnight Tuesday and into the afternoon of Wednesday. While the amount wasn't huge, some of the drifts from the 35mph winds made for some interesting 4+ foot drifts off post last night. I took out a big blade to ensure I came home today. I've never been a big fan of walking out in the cold. :banghead: Here's a short video I made operating my favorite plow last night.
