 Hi everyone,

I finally started fabricating sub frame on my GT-14 for the

FEL I am building. I am using some home made blue prints

I drew up myself. When I get done, I will have all measurements

and some pics. I will be glad to share them when I get them all

done. Will also have a material list and cost sheet. So far I only

have $82.00in steel for comeplete sub frame including the uprights

for main loader frame. Thanks to all for all the info and pics ya all

posted for me. They really helped alot. :banghead:

I am definitely interested in all the info you have about the sub frame. I am planning on mounting a loader on GT-14 in the spring.

Jeff, I undoubtly agree. That goes without saying, basically so we could watch assembly and take notes. I myself wouldn't mind trying to fabricate something like that but I already have a template as I have a GT14 loader. But it would be nice to watch Boatman do his thing. See Ya, Bye Burly :hide:

 Hi everyone,

I just got a digital camera so I will start taking pics of subframe constrution.

I will have to find out how to post them. I'm not real computer savy. The subb frame is simple. I used 2"x3"x1/8" box tubing. I drilled a 3/4" hole thru the

one end of both rails and inserted a 3/4" rod thru. This fits in rear hitch for

snow plow. I took off the cntr tach matic brackets and used those bolt holes

to attach a plate to connect to front end of sub frame. I used 3" channel

iron as cross member and welded a flat plate on each end. Attached a

matching plate to 2"x4" upright. The right side upright will have pipe fittings

welded into it as it will also be the oil resevoir. That will be as far as I can

go for awhile. Need to save alittle more money. Will try to get ya all some

pics soon. Bye :banghead:

I'm very interested in this build as I just purchased plans from PF to build a loader for my 70 GT14. Please keep us updated and I will do all I can to help along the way. I'd love to see the subframe you have going because that's where I'm about to start with my build.
