Scored a snowblower!

Recommended Posts

CTPATRIOT

After yesterday's storm cleanup i decided i REALLY needed a tractor mounted blower, not just a plow.I've had many, but sold them like a fool(when there was no snow of course).I picked up this one tonight, with the lift arm for $120-.It's solid and was seored inside.I hope to have it on the C-120 soon!I'll have some better pics tomorrow.

this is the first one I have seen

with the plate that shows left & right.

Also looks like the flag is set up for

a helper spring. :ychain:

Do you have the flag pinned in the upper hole of the lift mechanism? Its much easier to lift than the lower hole.

Just a thought.

I'll have to take a look as well. I did put an assist spring on it, but it takes three men and a small boy to lift it still. Thanks for the tip.

Maybe its just me but I'm 165 pounds soaking wet and when I have my blower on my B-80 and my B-100, it's a cinch to lift up and down... even without an assist spring. And I'm right handed!

Am I superhuman?

Another thing, this tractor still steers nice when the blower is lifted.Much better than other tractors with this much weight on the front end,i was very surprised :ychain: .

"THE PATRIOT" I have a brand new lift spring that matches the one I have on my snowblower. If you want it you can have it for $10 at your door. PM me if interested. Also; you made sure to lift the blower all the way up, and then set your spring tension? If you set your spring tension when it was down, that would make sense as why it would be so hard to lift.
