"D" series tiller question

Recommended Posts

JH711

Hi ,

I have a D series 50 inch tiller my question is there an adapter I can buy to change the male spline hook up on the tiller drive shaft to the female on the tractor to a female on the tiller to a male on my kobota tractor? What I've been told so far is wheel horse is a cat 0 and the kobota is cat 1 just asking so I don't waste my time trying to do this. Thanks

Do you realize there is a speed difference in the two pto's?

The man I bought my D-tiller from had it on his Bota, it worked but ended up selling it to me then bought a Bota tiller.

Don't know how he did the quick attach.

I'm probably wrong but I thought I heard the D pto turns backwards to all other brands???

The D is 2000 rpm. Most CUT"s are 540 rpm. I'm not sure about the direction.

Pto direction is the same, but the rpms are higher on a D series. You would be money ahead if you sold the D tiller and bought a Kubota tiller.
