yokomist 0 #1 Posted October 5, 2010 Hey guys, does anyone know the length of the starter/generator belt off a k-241? I need a quick replacement and was hoping to get something temp from TSC. Any ideas? Thanks Bevan
Retired Wrencher 4,876 #2 Posted October 5, 2010 :) Hi Bevan I just bought a shop manual = hard cover not paper back and there is to Meany to list. For my 1075 I will go to dealer and have them measure it. I am not kidding there is a bunch of choices here to save time and aggravation I would go to a good dealer have them measure for length. if the old one is next to the gas tank 1" shorter. Gary B.. daemon2525 5 #6 Posted October 6, 2010 I have three old ones hanging in the garage and they measure 33.5 34 and 34.5 with a tape measure around the "outside" Sorry, I am no help.... Oh, yea, They are kinda skinny so they are surely 3/8 rather than 1/2"
yokomist 0 #7 Posted October 6, 2010 Thanks for the replies everyone, Just to follow up, if someone needs a quick replacement from TSC around 36" should be good. I got a 34" but its just a touch too small to go on. Thanks Bevan
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #8 Posted October 6, 2010 A 3L350 would be 3/8" wide by 35" long. (outside or top measurement) :)
