'72'Raider Racing Stripes

Recommended Posts

I have a nice shiney Hood on my (Belgium built) Raider 12. There were no stripes on it originally (very economical with the stickys), but I'm debating whether to finish the Resto to the Parts Manual spec or as it was. What do you think ?. If I do go for them, I will Airbrush them on to match the Red n Grey Decal colour and bury them under several more coats of Clear.

So if someone could be kind enough to produce a 'Pici' and the various line width and spacing measurements (Imperial or Metric), I would be grateful.

Thanks in anticipation.

Looks like a brand new tractor!

Do what ever it takes to keep it looking original!

Thanks Ken for taking the trouble to reply. As it look's like I won't obtain the dimensions of the Stripes anyway, I think I'll leave it Basic. I suspect there aren't any 'Belgium built' Raiders in UK with Hood Stripes on....Regards

Sorry Richard, my computer took a huge poop last night and I had to wait for my wife to clean it up! :) (She's awesome!)

The center stripe that is centered on the hood is 1 1/2" wide or 38 millimeters.

The gap on either side of the center stripe is 3/4" or 19 millimeters.

The small stripes are 1/4" or 6.35 millimeters.
