rmaynard 14,864 #3 Posted July 31, 2010 There is a wire that comes from the points and goes to the (-) side of the coil. The condenser wire also connects to the (-) side. The other wire is 12V, connects to the (+) side of the coil and it comes from the ignition switch. It should only have 12V present when the key is on or in the start position.
