Can anyone tell me what model(s) of wheel horse came with a 16hp cast iron briggs? :thumbs:

Actually, it was none.

The ones listed above are all aluminum.

Well that sucks, I have this 16hp Briggs that I want to rebuild but I have no use for it other than putting it in a Horse :thumbs:

It's a very large engine (dimension wise), what C model would be a good candidate?

Other than the C-195 all the C's were the same basic size. Later models (black hoods) had more clearance under the hood... Model number ended in a 5--- C-85 to C-175 all had the same space for a motor

Some C-111's had an 11 hp Briggs. They might have the same dimension Oil pan's. The only one I've seen, I didn't look real close at. I would think Mid 70's square hood B & C series, would be good candidates.
