perry 82 #1 Posted March 27, 2008 just some video playing with the hydrolift. i added a 1/4 qt of trans fluid with the 10w30 oil in the pump and its starting to work a little better. but still isnt holding up the snowplow all the time. ill prombaly will have to replace some O-rings. i think this lift sat in a closet for to long with no fluid pumping threw it. snowplow lifting rear tow hook lift
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,337 #2 Posted March 27, 2008 I was hoping to see some down pressure and some lifting of the front end. How high did that thing lift the plow? 10, 12 inches? My C with the hydraulic lift only lifts maybe 6 inches at the most. That rear lift would come in handy. I'm sure you will worked out the bugs. O-rings will be a good place to start as it's not holding it's pressure I would think.
perry 82 #3 Posted March 27, 2008 they way the lift bar is setup it pushes on more of a angle towards the plow and not so much straight down. more less keeps the pressure on the blade and does'nt really lift the tractor front up. i had the front come up a little while i was pushing some dirt. Rollerman 290 #5 Posted March 27, 2008 Looks good Perry...ditto on what Terry said about the O rings. There cheap & an easy install on most cylinders. I noticed the rear lift looked like bicycle front forks....did you tell your kid you were gonna borrow them...
