Time to get the tinware painted

I replaced a six inch square piece of the hood around the hole for the gas cap

and fabbed up two new gas tank holding straps

using ommi paint base coat clear coat

Here's the throttle assembly I made. The lower piece is machined out of a solid

block of stainless the lever was cut out of a piece of 14ga stainless and

hand shaped

I also made a mold and poured a new resin handle on the lever the resin

hardens in a off white color kinda like the original

I added some detail too the rear hubs before installing the rear wheels

this project been alot of work I'm glad it's finnally over I need to finish a

414-8 that is half done that I started before the 854 rebuild

I should have the last picture's posted before the end of the weekend

well here they are the finished pictures vinylguy(Terry) did the custom decals

which look great :thumbs:(thank you)

Rims and seat were powder coated all the tinware was painted with ommi

base coat clear coat The engine block and center of the transmission & pulleys was painted with vaslpar IH red (restoration)

Boy oh Boy that looks even better than I had imagined.Well you really did something to be proud of. Its .....indescribable.

I only have one question now... what are you going to do to top this? I cant even imagine that it can be done, but if anyone can it will be you! Do you have any good sourcres for carbon fiber??? Just kidding :D If I owned a hat it would be off to you.
