Another Version of the Rat

Progress!

Had some time to get her together and test it out. Looks like it will make it to the show. It still needs a little tweaking in some spots but nothing major.

Thanks for the comments eveyone.

It looks much better in the pics then it really is. Wish I had more time and patience for the prep and paint but this was a quicky. Grand kids already scratched her up a little bit too but no big deal, it's a rat.

Mike, you can ride it along side me riding your RJ.

Chris, I look forward to your ridiculous wise cracks, bring it on!

May take you up on the ride-switch John. That thing is just waaaaaay too cool looking. There's not a single thing I don't like about this build. The only possible thing your missing is a set of bug-eye lights on the front. That would just be icing on the cake though. Just too cool.

John, your rat is awesome! I wish I was able to get some pics of it at the show. Guys, this is one bad arse bullet proof rat. Its instantly wicked fast and has some very cool features you don't notice at first. Thanks much for whipping up a killer dinner for us at the show John, mucho appreciated!

Johns "rat" made its appearance at the show. Nice work John, though we didn't get trade rides.

Thanks again for the compliments guys.

I enjoyed talking with you too Bud. Your tractor is one of the most creative machines that I have seen. Glad you were able to bring it.

If you want something heavy, use a cap from a LP gas Tank, welding tank, ect ...

custom painted.

Thanks for the suggestion but this needed to be done for the show, back in June. I used a metal cover from a flood light. It provided the cone shape I was looking for.

How about a small squirrel cage fan on the shaft, with a duct back to the operator. Poor man's A/C!
