TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #2 Posted March 16, 2008 You certainly won't have to worry about anyone else having four 754's there, will you Jerry? I can't wait to see them all there together. :D
Sparky-(Admin) 19,532 #3 Posted March 16, 2008 Whats the deal with the 754? Is it rare? Mike.......
TT-(Moderator) 1,127 #4 Posted March 17, 2008 There's a long and short story to them (and I've heard 2 different stories all together), Mike, and since there isn't much room here I'll try for the short version. As "legend" has it, Wheel Horse was readying a production run of 854 tractors, but the K-181 Kohler engines had not arrived yet. They threw some of the "left-over" K-161's from the 753 models on the tractor, stickered them as a "754" and sold about 421 of them. Wheel Horse never recognized them as an "official" production model. and there are no manuals or literature that list even them. Rollerman 290 #5 Posted March 17, 2008 I'll second that as the story I have been told too TT. Jerry I knew you had 2 of them...did not know you owned 4...wow! Thats some scrounging to find four of that rare model. Jerry will you be bringing the Yellow one from Wapakoneta to the show also?
