Can se that getting the steering wheel of the shaft is going to be a pig, have stood it upright and filled the boss with oil to soak down the sharft, roll pin came out fine, will leave it for a few days to soak :thumbs:

90% of the ones that I've ever sucessfully removed were done in a hydraulic press, Wes. I don't even bother trying to get the roll pin out anymore -- I just let it shear off and clean the pieces out of the holes later. :thumbs:

Isn't it funny how a disassembled tractor can disappear into the backdrop? The space looked cramped and full with a complete tractor parked there... but little by little the space opened back up. Just amuses me how little space they take up when they're in pieces!

Hi perry, if you was this side of the pond , l would buy it from you but the shipping price now is dam silly, so will settle down and repair mine , l no you think us brits are mad , but l must admit to liking cutting out rust and making new parts, plus l will beef up the thickness to .

perry l just try and clean up end of each day and it gets painted out every other year, the white makes it better as it refects the light, and in the summer l try and work out side, thanks for the chat tonight is good in the chat room .

Well had a decent day in the shop today working on the raider, at last gearbox is back on to the frame, dam weather has got me down and has cost to many days working on it , will post piccys wed night with update, am hoping to pull the engine apart in the next two days and get that rebuilt and back on, then its just the body work.

Well thats what l have been upto to date, and this raider is still fighting me, flywheel is giving me hell to come of , so made a puller in the end , so its off, engine inside is good,but will give it new rings and the oil seals have been weeping so will do them along with new service bits ie points etc , will post more piccys as l go.
