.5racer 14 #1 Posted March 2, 2008 Just found a meyers snow plow hose thats 45" long with 1/4" pie fittings.. Question is could the rear or mid lift cylinders be retaped to except these type of hoses. Can get them for about 10 to 20 here .Starret card says tapping 1/4-18 pipe to drill a 7/16 hole. kj4kicks 151 #2 Posted March 2, 2008 Might be easier to just get the adapters to go from the o-ring style to the pipe threads. Less mess, and easy to change back if you want to.

kj4kicks 151 #4 Posted March 2, 2008 I would go to a hydraulic shop, but NAPA probably also has them.

refracman 166 #6 Posted March 2, 2008 Terry WH used a 5/16ths pipe thread and a #5 hyd. fitting. With that being said your local Parker Hyd fitting outlet will have the correct fittngs. edit: if your 1/4 line has a #6 ( 3/8ths) fitting you will need a #6 female to #5 male with a oring seal to make your line fit.
